David Ecker ( Buck) Mundey, Sr.

David Ecker (Buck) Mundey, Sr. age 96, of Williamsport, MD, departed this life on July 16, 2025, at the Berkeley Springs Center, Berkeley Springs.

Born in Hagerstown, MD, on Monday, October 29, 1928, he was the son of the late Albert Mundey and Catherine Louise (Franklin) Mundey; and was married to the late Emmaline (Davis) Mundey for 51 years.

He spent most of his adult life as a skilled tradesman, setting tile in the Hagerstown area. He also enjoyed bowling.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother George Mundey, one daughter Deborah Plum and one granddaughter Melissa Mundey. 

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Irene Fraley and Mary Powell, his children David Mundey, Jr. (Melissa Mundey), Dorinda Younker (Barry Younker), Step children, Glen Gordon, Eddie Grove, (Sue Grove) 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.

There will be no viewing but there will be a graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery Friday 7/25/2025 at 11:00 A.M.  Williamsport, MD.
