Debra Ann Rollison

Debra Ann Rollison, born on November 28, 1954, in Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland, on August 25, 2025. Born on November 28, 1954, in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Oscar Myers and Mary Dixie Myers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Rollison; and her son, Shane Lewis Rollison.

Debra dedicated an impressive 45 years of her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA). Throughout her extensive career, she showed unwavering commitment to caring for those she loved. She possessed a big heart for stray animals, offering her kindness to every creature that crossed her path, be it a cat, dog, or even a possum.

She relished reading books, coloring, and engaging in games. Her adventurous spirit shone through during long rides in the mountains, a pastime that brought her immense joy. However, the most cherished moments in Debra's life were the times spent surrounded by her family, particularly her great grandsons.

Debra is survived by her beloved daughter, April Kinzer-Mackereth, and husband, Eric; her sister, Cathy Sue Myers; her brother, William “Denny” Myers, and wife, Nancy Myers; her granddaughter, Cassandra Mackereth, and husband, Nathan Gerringer; great grandsons, Theodore and Wilson Gerringer; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Debra’s life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. Receiving of family and friends will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
