Dennis Lee Henson

Dennis "Denny" Lee Henson, 69, passed away, on December 8, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born July 29, 1952 in Clear Spring, Md., he was the son of the late, Bernard Henson, Sr. and Ruth (Myers) Henson. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Daniel and Cora Henson; maternal grandparents, Earl and Beatrice Myers.
He was a graduate of Clear Spring High School, class of 1970.
Denny was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1977 and reached the rank of Spec 4.
After serving in the military he worked as a draftsman at Ft. Ritchie for many years, then at Redland Brick from 1987 until retirement.
Denny is survived by three siblings Earl Henson and wife, Jo, Cletus Henson and wife, Louise, Blanche Masters and husband, Wayne; sister-in-law, Libby and Bob Tosten, all of Clear spring; also many nieces, nephews; mother-in-law, Teresa Feigley; sister-in-laws, Darlene Elser and Jack and Pam Harley; brother-in-law, Kenneth Feigley, Jr. and Joyce.
He also was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 38 years, Marlene (Feigley) Henson on June 22, 2017; sister, Jennie Kelly; brother, Bernie Henson, Jr.; father-in-law, Kenneth Feigley, Sr.
Denny loved God, his family and his country.
Denny attended Pinesburg Baptist Church.
There will be no viewing or service at this time.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later time.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Denny's name to Clear Spring Ambulance Club or Clear Spring Fire Department.
