Diane Lee Paddack

Diane Lee (Young) Paddack, 71, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 30, 1938, in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of the late Russell B. and Edyth Mae (Barr) Young.
Diane attended Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., for two years and the University of North Dakota for two years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown and the Alpha Phi Sorority.
She was a homemaker and had worked in real estate.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Varner L. "Pat" Paddack; one daughter, Maryle A. (Paddack) Mondschein; two sons, Mark L. Paddack and Scott R. Paddack; and six grandchildren, Daved R.L. Paddack, Alexandra M. Paddack, Cameron Leigh Mondschein, Emory Allison Mondschein, Chloe E. Paddack and Thomas L. Paddack.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John B. Young.
Inurnment was private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
