Dolores Marie Howell

Dolores Marie Howell, 97, of Forest Hill, Md., formerly of Hagerstown, Md. and Williamsport, Md., passed away, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Hart Heritage Estate Assisted Living, Forest Hill.

Born July 31, 1927 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, William Wingert Wolfe and Laura Ellen (Tritch) Wolfe. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 74 years, Calvin Leroy Howell.

Mrs. Howell graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1945 and graduated from the Washington County Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She belonged to the Cadet Nurse Program from 1945-1948.Employed by Washington County Hospital as a registered nurse for 16 years and moved to Winchester, Va. in 1964 and was employed by O'Sullivan Rubber Company as a industrial nurse for several years.

She attended the Williamsport Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Howell is survived by her daughter, Cathy Lee Dice and husband, Alan of Forest Hill. In addition she has numerous cousins surviving.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave.Hagerstown. 

Interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
