Donald Neil Young

Donald Neil Young, 90, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 30, 1935, in Washington, PA, he was the son of the late Howard Young and Lola (Warrell) Young.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Sylvia C. (Dombrowsky) Young; brothers Bob Young and Howard Young and sisters Shirley Burns, Lois Young, and Louise Yoder.

Donald graduated from Trinity High School in Washington, PA and went on to become an insurance salesman at United Insurance Company. He had a passion for antiques and fast cars.

Donald is survived by his children, Kip Young, Kimberly Sandeen, Kerry Young, and Kristin Young; grandchildren, Jaid Sandeen, Andrew Sandeen, Matthew Sandeen, Tyler Young, Brandy Bynum, and Kaitlyn Young; brother, Richard Young (Karen); sister, Evelyn Ruschel (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Washington County.
