Dorothy Louise Buchanan

Dorothy Louise Buchanan, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Homewood of Williamsport.
Born June 15, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Keener and Florence Viola (Lowery) Martin.
Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Christ Reformed Church, Hagerstown.
She retired as owner and operator of the La Petite Beauty Salon after 37 years of service.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Darrel H. Buchanan; one son, Darrel H. "Buddy" Buchanan and wife, Linda, of Hagerstown; one grandson, Darrel H. "Bucky" Buchanan and wife, Leann, of Clear Spring; and two great-granddaughters, Makayla and Savannah.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Gregg R. Meserole officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
