Edwin Crosby Sprouse

Edwin Crosby Sprouse, 92, of Fahrney-Keedy in Boonsboro, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 8, 1917, in Spartanburg, S.C., he was the son of the late Gilbert Thomas and Maggie (Crosby) Sprouse.
He was a radioman in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and flew on B-17 Bombers in more than 30 missions in Germany.
Edwin is the last survivor of his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Sprouse; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
