Elizabeth Barbara Borum

Elizabeth Barbara Borum, 93, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Doey's House, Hagerstown.
Born September 5, 1926 in Wilkes Barre, Pa. she was the daughter of the late, John and Katarina (Tropiak) Pisarcik. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, William R. Borum and four sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. Borum was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church. She loved to travel with her husband, "Bill", and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved being a mother and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by five children, William E. Borum and wife, Pamela, Nancy C. Borum, Cheryl A. Light and husband, Timothy, all of Hagerstown, Donald C. Borum and wife, Angela of Pasadena, Md. and David M. Borum of Owings Mills, Md; one brother, Danny Pisarcik and wife, Barbara, of Wilkes Barre; four grandchildren, Zachary Light and wife, Michelle, Joshua Light, Donny Borum and Olivia Borum and one great grandson, Griffin Light.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 1525 Oak Hill Ave., Hagerstown with Monsignor J. Bruce Jarboe as celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, at the church one hour prior to the mass.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's name to Hospice of Washington County, (Doey's House) 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742
