Faye Elaine Jacques

Faye Elaine Jacques, 77, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 25, 1948, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elsie Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Jacques.

Faye had a deep love for animals, especially her cherished cats, Max and Miss P. She enjoyed shopping and bowling and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders. Gardening brought her great joy, but above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her children: Judith Ann Jacques, Jacquelyn Elaine Jacques, Joellen (and husband Darby) Ridenour, Laurie Weller, and John Jacques Jr.; her companion, Rick Frisby; her sister, Lori Shepley Love; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
