Floyd Hubert Kline

Floyd Hubert Kline, Jr., 86, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Meritus Medical Center.

Born March 18, 1937 in Boonsboro, Md., he was the son of the late, Floyd Hubert Kline, Sr. and Sarah Virginia (Renner) Kline. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by, one son, William "Bill" Kline and one brother, Kenneth Kline.

He was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School.

Mr. Kline was owner and operator of Kline's Auto Body and previously had worked as an auto mechanic and body shop tech for Litton's Amoco and Middlekauf Chrysler. He also was known for being Santa Claus for fire departments, day care's, nursing homes, and churches around the Hagerstown area.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown, L.O.O. Moose, Williamsport, F.O.P., ARCH Auto Racing Club of Hagerstown and the Alsatia Club, Inc., Hagerstown.

Mr. Kline is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Doris Jean (Funk) Kline; two children, Randy Kline (Sheri) and Debby Kendrick (Mike); one brother, Bob Kline (Lou); three sisters, Donna Ridenour, Betty Biser and Nellie Armstrong; three grandchildren, William "Billy" Kline II, Michael Kendrick II and Megan Wolfe; five great grandchildren, Kameron and Kasey Kline, Hunter and Blake Kendrick and Rylee Wolfe; one great great granddaughter, Evelynn Kline and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, 712 W. Church St., Hagerstown with Pastor Dionne Hall officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Wednesday December 6th from 6-8 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home,1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
