Freda Mae Dayhoff

Freda Mae Dayhoff, 80, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Friday, August 12, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 26, 1942 in Williamsport, Md. she was the daughter of the late,Charles William and Hattie Mae (Domer) Cottrill. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by four siblings, Betty Hose, Judy Morningstar, Lee Domer and Sonny Cottrill

In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Dayhoff retired from St. James School where she had worked in the cafeteria.

She was a member of Calvary Temple, Williamsport and the South Mountain Rod and Gun Club, Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Dayhoff is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence C. "Skunk" Dayhoff, Sr.; four children, Clarence C. "Skunk" Dayhoff, Jr. and wife, Rhonda, Jeffrey Dayhoff, Sr., Robin Bradshaw and husband, David "Bun", Timothy Wood Dayhoff and partner, Vicki, all of Hagerstown; two sisters, Shirley Whitaker and Sherry Potts and husband, Danny; seven grandchildren, Tonya Kegarise, Jeffrey Dayhoff, Jr., David Biser, Carri Humphrey, Jodi Dayhoff, Kailey Wolfe and Jacob Wolfe; three great grandchildren, Trenton Biser, Kyra Kegarise and Jordin Humphrey.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Robert V. Robinson officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M.
