Gary Lee Starliper Sr.

Gary Lee Starliper Sr., passed away on December 21, 2023 at Meritus Medical Center.  He was the husband of the late Diane Marie Starliper for many years. 

Born on June 6, 1952, he was the son of the late Harry and Grace Starliper.  Gary was a Maintenance Technician at AC &T for more than 20 years and enjoyed his job and coworkers. He loved hosting his annual July 4^th yard sale and watching wrestling in the evening. He also enjoyed sitting on his porch talking with his neighbors and tinkering with things in the garage. 

He is survived by his daughter, Heather V. McCauley and husband Jermey, stepdaughter, Amber E. Watkins and husband Randy; step-sons, Donnie C. Smith and Michael S. Smith; 4 brothers, 1 sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, Maryland. A funeral service will begin at 11am and Reverend Tom Young will officiate. Interment will follow.
