Gary Lynn Stottlemyer

Gary Lynn Stottlemyer, 60, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at his work, Ventura Foods, in Chambersburg, Pa., where he was a machine operator.

Born April 11, 1965 in Hagerstown he was the son of Charles Leroy and Shirley Jane (Kindle) Stottlemyer. Gary attended Smithsburg High School and received his GED.

In addition to Gary's parents he also is survived by, a daughter, Sarah Jane Stottlemyer; four siblings, Joyce Fox and husband, Chuck, Brenda Martin and husband, John, Yvonne Rickett and husband, Tommy and Lemuel Kindle and wife, Tena; a cousin who was like a brother to Gary, Randy Stottlemyer; five nieces, six nephews and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife of 20 years, Pamela Jean (Harnish) Stottlemyer who passed away, May 3, 2024; two sons, Joshua and Justin Stottlemyer; one brother, Dennis Charles "Denny" Stottlemyer; one sister, Edith "Jane" Stottlemyer and a special nephew, Charles Franklin "Frankie" Bradburn.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Jeremy Kitchens officiating.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.
