George DeVincent Kendrick
Born November 26, 1926 in Washington DC he was the son of the late, Melvin and Julia Elizabeth (Robeson) Kendrick. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy May (Sullivan) Kendrick; a step son, John L. Fallon; two brothers, Frederick and Frank Kendrick and three sisters, Bettye Wiand, Sarah Soper and Cleo Stone.
Mr. Kendrick was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and trained at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
He attended Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Williamsport and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hagerstown.
Mr. Kendrick is survived by two daughters, Deborah M. "Debbie" Kendrick and Betty J. "Beth" Kendrick and his pet dog, Hercules and pet cat, Popeye.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown with Pastor Kevin Smoot officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the service
