George Thomas Knight, Sr.

George T. Knight, Sr., 92, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, February 20, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.,
He was born on August 31, 1928 in Stoneville, N.C. to the late, Joe and Lillian Knight.
He is survived by his wife, Anna May (Walling) Knight of 72 years; sons, George T. Knight, Jr., Terry Knight, Michael Knight and wife, Sherri; daughters, Linda Leather and husband, Sid and Pat Swope; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by, a brother, Robert Joel Knight and two grandchildren.
He served in the US Navy. He retired from Mack Truck after 30 years of service.
There will be no viewing and the burial will be at the convenience of the family at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
