Geraldine Oleta (Clark) Crilly, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at her home, while surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 27, 1930, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Leroy and Oneida Ellen (Campbell) Clark.
She was a 1948 graduate of Boonsboro High School.
She worked as a seamstress for L'Aiglon and Dorbee's Manufacturing and Sewing Factory.
Geraldine was a member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren and the United Workers Sunday School Class. She was also a former Deacon, member of the kitchen committee, Women's Fellowship, Mary and Martha Circle, and the Sewing Circle. She was also a member of the Boonsboro Senior Citizen's Group
She enjoyed sewing and making quilts for her family and the Church of the Brethren Mid Atlantic District Relief Auction. Geraldine enjoyed bowling and cooking holiday meals for the family.
She is survived by her children, Mark David Crilly and his wife Wanda, Lisa Ann Stotelmyer and her husband Donnie, all of Hagerstown, Amy Dawn Hardy and her husband Ron of Boonsboro; eight grandchildren, Emily Shipley (Wesley), Jordan Crilly (Shannon), Matthew Stotelmyer, Megan Stotelmyer, Daniel Hardy (Rachel), Nathan Hardy, Jeremy Hardy (Kirstie), and Katie Hardy; and five great-grandchildren, Caroline, Owen and Jack Hardy, Keagan Shipley, and Hannah Crilly.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Kenneth Crilly, who died August 8, 1997; a sister, Mildred Lorraine Shank and her husband Charles; and her brother, Willis Leroy Clark.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 3, 2019 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Twyla Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine's name to the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren,15 S. Mulberry St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
