Glenn Alan Sweitzer

Glenn Alan Sweitzer, 60, of Ranson, West Virginia, passed away on December 22, 2023, at his home.

Born on July 23, 1963, in Olney, Maryland, he was the son of Mildred (Dyson) Sweitzer and the late Donald Sweitzer Sr.

Glenn worked in the meat carving department at Food Lion grocery store and most recently Weis Market. He had a love for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, taking road trips and enjoying animals of every kind. Throughout his life, he enjoyed raising, caring for and providing habitat to many different species of birds.

In addition to his mother Mildred, he is survived by his siblings, Donald Sweitzer Jr., Jean Harley, Joan Sears, June Miller and Carol Franks. As well as his partner Daniel Adams.

In addition to his father Donald Sr., he was preceded in death by siblings, Virginia and Albert Sweitzer.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1pm at the New Life Ministries Church, 4102 Tabler Station Road, Inwood, WV, 25428.
