Gloria May (Shirley) Olden

Gloria May (Shirley) Olden, 87, of Greencastle, PA, formally of Ocala FL and Halfway MD, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born May 21, 1934, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mae Shirley.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Clarence "Toby" Olden, Jr and son in law; Steven Keener.
She graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1952.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, MD.
She worked for Myerly Photography from 1961 until 1982 with lifelong friends Richard and Mary Myerly. She enjoyed singing, music and playing cards and games with friends. She was very artistic and loved to paint and do crafts. Her favorite pastime was sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed being surrounded by her family.
She is survived by son Dennis Olden and wife Shirley, and daughter Dawn Olden Keener. Granddaughters Heather Baker, Tessa Keener, Jessica Olden, and grandson Jason Olden and wife Ashley, and three great-grandsons, Jaydan Baker, Grayson Harvey and Halen Olden.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11 AM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Dan Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM.
