Harold Harrison (Peachy) Heiston, Sr.

Mr. Harold Harrison ( Peachy ) Heiston age  85  of Falling Waters,  WV.  Died  at his home surrounded by his family. He was in failing health for the past 3 months and became critically ill in the last month.

He was born February  11, 1939 he was the son of the late Charles H and Virginia I ( Eichelberger ) Heiston. He spent his young years in Hagerstown, Maryland until his family moved to Falling Waters, West Virginia. Mr Heiston attended North Hagerstown high, he served in the United State’s Navy on the USS Randolph.  He and his wife Norma Jean Smith were married on January 14, 1961 in Hagerstown, Md. He was employed with his father until his father retired, he then became self employed and retired in 2010. Mr Heiston enjoyed working with wood and made many beautiful things. He was a carpenter by trade, he loved cutting his lawn and planting flowers.

He is survived by one daughter Angelia J Albright  (Darren) of Falling Waters, WV one son Harold H. Heiston Jr (Mary) of Falling Waters, WV one sister Esther  Engstron and two grandchildren Charles / Sonya Heiston and Danielle Albright / Alex Whitehead, 5 great grandkids CharleeAnn, Harrison, Amelia, Summer and Juliette. He was proceeded in death by two sisters Gail Cox and Mary Ingram one brother Charles H Heiston Jr, also a host of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Rest Haven Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Young officiating, burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
