Henry Rowland Sr. Renner

Henry "Tub" Rowland Renner Sr., 78, Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Washington County Hospital
Born Oct. 17, 1931, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Joseph Howard and Lelia (Buracker) Renner.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and earned the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars while with Company "G" 15th infantry Regiment.
He retired from the Light Department with the City of Hagerstown
Henry is survived by a daughter, Donna Whittaker and husband, Philip; two sons, Henry Jr. and wife, Rosalee Renner, and Ronald "Ronnie" Renner and wife, Esther, all of Hagerstown; and two brothers, William Renner and Ned Renner, both of Hagerstown. He is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, Ronnie Jr., Dwayne, Justin and Ryan Renner, Erin Wolfe and Kelsey Whittaker; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Renner.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Friends will be recieved Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home
