Herbert Davis

Herbert Davis, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born on June 29, 1956, in Washington, D.C., Herbert was a proud native of the nation’s capital. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Latonya Davis (Easterling), with whom he shared many cherished years. Herbert's life was centered around his deep love for his family, and he will be fondly remembered for his wisdom, kindness, and quiet strength.

He served with dedication at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., where he was admired by colleagues and friends alike. A devoted fan of the Washington Redskins, Herbert found great joy in cheering on his team and sharing that passion with others.

Herbert leaves behind a lasting legacy in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. His memory will be treasured and his presence deeply missed.

The family will receive friends and family from 2-3 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Rest Haven Funeral Home.
