Jackie Jean Shubert, 67, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown.
Born Oct. 12, 1944, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jack Bender and Ruth Jane (Mills) Itnyre.
Mrs. Shubert was a homemaker and a Christian by faith.
She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Jeanie E. Anderson and husband, Michael, William R. Shubert and wife, Kim , all of Hagerstown, Matthew Shubert and wife, Kathleen, of Greencastle and Misty (Shubert) Pryor and Jamie Myers of Hagerstown; one sister, Rosalie Grove of Hagerstown; 14 grandchildren, Kelly Anderson, Billy III and Tyler Shubert, Kayla and Katlyn Butts, Julia and Cassie Pryor, Autumn Shubert, Bobby Jr., Ashley, Roland and Jackie Shubert, Cyrus Kilby and Brionna Miley; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Clipp Jr., Madisynn Shubert, Bobby III, Layla and Isiah Shubert; and her loving dog, Chico.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, William Robert Shubert Sr.; a son, Robert W. "Bobby" Shubert Sr.; a grandson, Michael W. Anderson; and one brother.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Leitersburg, with the Rev. George A. Limmer officiating.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, is in charge of the arrangements.
