James Harrison Luke

James Harrison Luke, 91, of Hagerstown, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born February 25, 1929 in Buckhorn, Cambria County Pennsylvania he was the son of the late, Benjamin H. and Mary M. (McElwain) Luke. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and a grandson.
Mr. Luke was a member of Paramount Baptist Church, Hagerstown.
His hobbies included fishing, painting and drawing and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Luke is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Louise (Bollinger) Luke; three children, Brenda Calimer and husband, John, Rory Luke and wife, Linda and Karen J.Luke; three grandchildren, Amanda Calimer and special friend, Wayne Sharer, Rebecca Calimer and husband, Shawn and Ryan Luke; three great grandchildren, Harvey, Jack and George Calimer.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00
A.M. at Paramount Baptist Church, 13234 Marsh Pike, Hagerstown with Pastor Josh Fields officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
