James T. Lewis, 40, lost his battle with cancer on February 22, 2022, at home with his wife holding his hand.
He was born on March 13, 1981, in Hagerstown, to the late Terry E. Lewis and Sandra "Ensminger" Lewis.
James attended Williamsport High School and received his GED 10 years later.
He worked in the metal recycling industry and was employed by Amazon.
He was an excellent backyard mechanic who was a Jack of all trades. In addition, he loved to collect antiques and was a family man.
James is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mellisa "Runkles" Lewis, daughter; Julie A. Lewis, sister; Dawn Wiles and brother-in-law Bob, aunt; Dianne and Frank Butteridge, mother-in-law; Stephanie Runkles, grandmother; Verna Ensminger, grandfather; James Lewis, and cousins; Heather, Melody, and Timothy.
He was preceded in death by his father; Terry Lewis, aunts; Susan Miller and Pamela Ensminger, grandmother; JoAnn Lewis, and grandfather; James Ensminger.
There will be no services.
