Janice Lee Garns, 88, of Greencastle, PA passed away at Doey's House on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
Born on September 13, 1932 in Savage, MD, Janice was the daughter of the late Clarence and Evelyn (Blakemore) Frazier. She is also predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John Garns; her sons, Jimmy Garns and Randy Garns; her brothers, Frank Frazier and Eddie Frazier; and her sisters, Thelma Baggs, Marie Pasternak, Lucille Haines, and Ellnetta Buckingham.
Janice was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Ministries and was a close friend of Pastor Steven McCullough. She enjoyed singing, watching sports, working for the bank, and donated to many charities during her life.
Janice is survived by her grandsons, Jeremiah Garns and wife Amber; and Matthew Garns and wife Kim. She is also survived by her brother, Wilson Frazier and his wife Margaret; and sister, Mary Jo Edwards. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Good Shepherd Ministries Church, with Pastor Kenneth Brown officiating. A viewing will take place two hours prior at 10:00 AM. Committal will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
