Judith "Judy" Carol Morris

Judith "Judy" Carol Morris, 77, of Hagerstown, Md. passed away, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Doey's House, Hagerstown.
Born April 22, 1944 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Clyde William and Josephine (Shellitoe) Cross. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Ellis Charles Morris III in October of 2016 and a sister, Linda Tracy.
Judy retired from the Regency Stationary House in Waynesboro, Pa. where she was a proof reader for 22 years; she also had worked as an associate for Food Lion for 8 years.
She was a member of Paramount Brethren in Christ Church, Hagerstown where she was a member of the Church Health Team, taught children's church and Bible School assisted with the Easter Egg Hunt and served as a custodian; Judy served as secretary of the Reunion Committee for North Hagerstown High School class of 1962. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing bingo and her cats and dog.
Judy is survived by two children, Robert "Rob" William Kline and wife, Chris and Cheryl "Sherry" Marie Thompson and husband, Davey; a step daughter, Destiny L. Morris; four grandchildren, Amber Wanket and husband, Garrett, Desirae Mehaffie and husband, Keith, Amanda Kline and fiance, Jonathan Wesson and Sheanna Potts and husband, Brandon ; five great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Gannon, Benjamin, Elayna, Trevor and Autumn; one sister, Jo Ann Smith; special nieces and nephews including, Tammy Tracy; her faithful cat Rain and dog, Missy Bella and her extended family reunion committee NHHS Class of 1962.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastors Jacob Harrison and Terry Hoke officiating.
Interment will follow in Browns Cemetery, Sabillasville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
