Judy Ann Guhr

Judy Ann Guhr, 83, of Williamsport, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born May 25, 1942, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Fred Lee Judd and Helen (Strock) Betts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lester Betts, and her husband, John Guhr. After many years apart, Judy has now joined John in heaven, together once again for eternity.

Judy nurtured a home filled with love and cherished every moment spent with her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to those she loved. Judy was a proud member of the Williamsport High School class of 1960.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Clay) Roll and Kim (Dave) Russell; her sons, Kent (Kim) Ardinger and Kirk (Alison) Ardinger; her sister, Nancy (Jack) Hose; in-laws, Karen (Bill) Hudson, Rick (Patty) Guhr, Liz (Alvin) Jones, Larry Ardinger, and David Ardinger; grandchildren, Lindsay (Matthew) Sharpe, Derek (Taylor) Russell, Tyler (Ashley) Miles, and Hannah (Brennan) Baker; seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, many nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She also shared a special friendship with Nancy Irving, whose care and companionship brought joy and comfort throughout her life.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M., with interment at Rest Haven Cemetery.
