Kenneth Eugene Butts, Jr.

Kenneth Eugene Butts, Jr., 70, of Hagerstown,Md., passed away, Monday, December 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 1, 1953 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Kenneth E. Butts, Sr. and Daisy Violet (Kane) Butts. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa A. Butts and a sister, Sarah Marshall.

Mr. Butts retired as a stone mason and had worked for several area business.

He was a former member of the Williamsport Redmen Club.

Mr. Butts is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elizabeth A. Butts; two sons, Kenneth E. Butts III and wife, Susan and William J. Butts and wife, Loretta; a step son, Merle E. Mumma; seven siblings, Betty Stottlemyer, Charles Butts, Donald butts, Richard Butts, Shirley Shoemaker, Junita Smith and Barbara Walling; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
