Lana Kay Cowgill

Lana Kay Cowgill, 64, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Meritus hospital.
Born on August 11, 1958, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John (Alvey) Baer and Jackie (Winters) Baer.

Lana had many hobbies, her hobbies consist of seaming and sewing, and she loved painting, diamond art, planting, and working in her flower beds. She also enjoyed shopping at the thrift store and flea markets. She was the type of person who always would put others before herself. Lana would help anyone she possibly could. 

 Lana is survived by her husband Fred Cowgill, her daughter Robin and husband Larry Jenkins, Two sons, Richard Shifflett Jr., and Adam Shifflett. One brother John and wife Pam Baer, one sister Kim (Baer) and husband Mike hunter; Seven grandchildren, Cierra Shifflett, Mackenzie Shifflett, Rebecca Shifflett, Jessica Shifflett, Amber Nixon, Alexa Nixon, and Flora Geese, and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
