Lois Weil Kaufman

Lois Weil Kaufman, 79, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center. 

Born on April 3, 1944, in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Efie (Pearl) Lee. Lois graduated high school in Miami, Florida and continued higher education at Lebanon Valley College where she pursued education. She became a teacher at Lebanon Valley College and was a member of the Women’s Club and the YMCA.

 She enjoyed her time with the Women’s club and enjoyed playing Mahjong, gardening, taking walks, dogs, and photography.

She is survived by her brother, Chris Halback and sister Peggy Michael and will be missed greatly by many dear friends. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 11am at Rest Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
