Lou Hamilton

Mary Lousie "Lou" Hamilton, 85, of Hagerstown, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at her home.
Born January 25, 1934 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Susie A. (Hildebrand) Ponton.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul T. Hamilton; two sons, Gary and Greg Huntzberry; and a granddaughter, Sara Hamilton.
Lou was a member of First Brethren Church in Hagerstown. She volunteered for the American Heart Association for 30 years. She retired from Washington County School Board after 25 plus years. She also worked arranging bus tours for 32 years under the name "Get Out of Town Tours".
Lou is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and care-givers, Tim and Robbin Hamilton; four grandchildren, Scott, Angela and husband Ted and their son Zachary, China and son Ayden, Tim and his wife Kelly; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be conducted in Rest Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
