Marilyn Jean (Bennett) Duncan, 80, of Hagerstown, formerly of Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Julia Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.
Born August 15, 1932 in Hartford City, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Edna (Brown) Bennett.
She had worked as a homemaker.
Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Cora Calendine and husband Richard of Hagerstown, MD.; a son, Jeff Duncan and wife Renee of Delphi, IN.; two brothers, Earl Bennett of Hartford City, in., Max Bennett and wife Laverne of Greenville, Ohio; a sister, Linda Hunt of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Drucilla and Violet Bennett; a brother, Cashus Bennett; a sister-in-law, Julia Bennett; and a brother-in-law, Bishop Larry Hunt.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High Street, Hartford City, IN. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
