Mary Elaine Ingram

Mary Elaine (Heiston) Ingram, 66, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, December 16, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore.
Born March 3, 1946 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Virginia Isabelle (Eichelberger) Heiston.
She was a member of Lifehouse Church Bethel in Hagerstown.
She retired as the supervisor of housekeeping at Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Gerald Wilbur "Preacher" Ingram, who died October 28, 2012.
She is survived by a son, Gerald A. Ingram; a daughter, Amanda D. Ingram, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Charles H. Heiston, Jr. of Yeagertown, PA, Harold H. Heiston of Falling Water, WV; two sisters, Eleanor G. Cox of Lewistown, PA, Esther L. Engstrom of Stephens City, VA; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Justin Repp officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
