Mary Reeder Sheeley

Mary Reeder Sheeley, 98,of Hagerstown, Md., past away, Saturday, November 11, 2023, peacefully at home, under the care of Hospice.

Born January 19, 1925 in Fulton County, Pa. she was the daughter of the late, Harry S. and Gertrude (Hershey) Reeder. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Charles Howard Sheeley, whom she married January 1946.

Mary retired from Maryland Ribbon in 1987.

She was a member of the First Brethren Church but now attends Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.

Mary is survived by two sons, Lester A. Sheeley of Hagerstown and Wayne D. Sheeley and wife Pam of Martinsburg, W.Va.; She raised her niece Jeannette Herrell and she and her husband Mark and their two children Jasmine and Markie lived with her. 

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown
