Mercuria Casas viuda de Acuesta y Cabral, 73. Born August 20, 1947, passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side on February 19, 2021.
A proud, resolute, and strong-willed woman who fought through to give her offsprings a better chance in life.
Loved by many whose lives she has touched with her selfless acts.
She was born in Cebu City, Philippines, to the late Josefa and Raymundo Casas.
Mercuria sometimes called Cory or Mer lived in Los Angeles for 20 years.
She is survived by her children Reubena, Nathan, and James Boyd Acuesta; grandchildren Uri, Karis, Nyra, Sean and Faith, James Reu, and Nathan Mark.
Mercuria leaves behind one older sister Angeles Enriques and younger brother Arlito Casas, numerous nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
