Michael Oliver Morris

Michael Morris, 53, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away peacefully at home losing his long time battle with cancer on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Born, November 2, 1970 in Takoma Park, Md., he was the son of Cheryl (Davis) Faust and the late, Robert Faust. In addition to his father he also was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. 

Michael was a 33 year employee of the National Institute of Health where he was a maintenance supervisor.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife and was an active member of the Mid Atlantic Plymouth Car Club. Working on Cars was his passion. He was a friend to many, a hard worker and a supportive and loving husband.

In addition to his mother Michael also is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Michell  (Fiffick) Morris; three sisters, Dawn Darr, Barbara Garrison and Tammy Potter; three brothers, Sean Faust, David Faust and John Franklin Morris; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, mother in law and father in law and his three Himalayan cats whom he enjoyed spending time with, Peeka Boo, Pickachu and Gizmo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 P.M. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
