Myrlene Romain-Bounds
Born December 31, 1963 in Haiti she was the daughter of the late, Samuel and Esther (Alexandre) Romain. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of eleven years, Flynn N. "Earl" Bounds and one brother, Churchill Romain.
Mrs. Bounds was a veteran of the U.S. Army with the 517th Maintenance Company.
She was a member of the Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church.
After her military service Mrs. Bounds received a Bachelors Degree from Frostburg State University and had worked in business as a financial planner and had also been a chef in the culinary field.
Mrs. Bounds is survived by a daughter, Shamitz E.M. Bounds; four siblings, Rose E. Romain, Shelley Romain, Sam Romain and Samyse Romain and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at the Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Dr., Hagerstown, MD 21740 with Rev. Kenneth Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown where Military Honors will be accorded by the Fort George G. Meade and the local Joint Veterans Council Honor Guards.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday two hours prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Myrlene's name to the Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, address above.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
