Nancy Ann Hartman, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born on October 21, 1942 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Lottie Pearl (Smith) and Joseph Henry Teeters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Kenneth Robert "Buck" Hartman, four Sisters; Jeanette Tragesser, Margie (Izzy) Stahley, Jean (Yaddy) Mumma and Carrol Long; and one Half-Brother, Ned Kershner.
In her younger years, Nancy worked at Newberry's in downtown Hagerstown. She became a stay at home mom and raised three beautiful daughters. Nancy loved her family and enjoyed many holidays in her home with family, playing games and having fun.
She is survived by Three Daughters, Debbie Jean Slate of Hagerstown, Shari Lynn Hastings and husband Tim of Hagerstown, and Julie Ann Schroyer and husband Duane of Greencastle; three Grandchildren, Dustin Tyler Hastings (Kara), Kyle Matthew Collins (Marina) and Katelyn Nicole Hastings (Chris) and Rob Slate (Kelli); and two Great Granddaughters, Payson Kinli Arambul and Mikayla Slate; two Great Grandsons, Asher Slate and Stratus Noll; Brother, William (Lee) Teeters of Shippensburg; three Sisters, Jane (Peenie) Loveless and Patsy Frazier of Hagerstown and Thelma Demottez of Orrstown, PA; and special neighbors and close friends.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11 AM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Jeff Ehko officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends Tuesday December 14, from 6-8 PM.
