Nancy Dolores Friend

Nancy Dolores Friend, 81, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, May 29, 2025 at her home.

Born October 7, 1943 in Uniontown, Pa. she was the daughter of the late, Lawrence and Edna (Merryman) Diehl. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard. C. Friend, Jr., and one brother, Larry Diehl.

Mrs. Friend was catholic by faith and was a member of the Interstate Association for the Deaf (IAD).

She is survived by five children, Rebecca Andyjohn (Art), Richard Friend III (Wendy), Barry Friend (Sandy), Bella Luther (Randy)and Belle McGaha (John) and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
