Norman Maurice Simington, 62, the son of the late Ronald Sr. and Margarett Simington, and grandson of the late, John Henry and Willie Belle Patterson Morris, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at Meritus Hospital.
Norman was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He moved to Hagerstown, MD in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Simington, his son, Joshman Simington, and his daughter, Lakesha Franklin of Indianapolis, IN; 3 grandsons, Jaieon, Julias, Jo’Sai, and 1 granddaughter, Kiazah. He is also survived by 5 sisters, Christina Simington, Patricia Simington, Tracy Simington, Margaret Rhodes and Shelia Bethea; 1 brother Ronald Simington, Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his Aunt Jane Morris.
Norman’s funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021. The viewing is scheduled from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm for the public. A private service for the family will take place immediately following, at 1:00 pm.
