Patricia Larue McAllister

Patricia Larue McAllister, 79, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown,
Born January 3, 1943 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Paul Butler and Edna (Barnhart) Ridgeway . In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Paul "Buster" and James Butler; two sisters, Paula Moser and Nancy Miller, her daughter in law, Sabrina A. McAllister and in laws, Charles and Freda McAllister.
Mrs. McAllister retired as a secretary for Tri State Plumbing and Heating, Inc., Hagerstown. Perviously she was employed as a secretary for Cumberland Valley Insurance, Hagerstown and Maugansville Lumber Company.
Mrs. McAllister was devoted to her family. She enjoyed family time with her husband, sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren on outings, picnics and holidays.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Douglas C. McAllister; two sons, Douglas C. McAllister, II and wife, Diane and Michael T. McAllister; two grandchildren, Douglas C. McAllister III and wife,Emma and April N. McAllister; four great grandchildren, Riley, Gunnar, Wake and Wren; two sisters, Joan Byers and Cheryl Hixon.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
A graveside service will follow on Friday, at 1:00 P.M. in Rest Haven Cemetery with Pastor James Gross officiating.
