Patricia Ann Young

Patricia Ann Young, 84, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away at her home on June 4, 2024.

Born on March 7, 1940, she was the daughter of Ruth I. Smith (Long) and Charles L. Smith, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Burton A. Young, Sr., and her sister Connie I. Mitchell.

Patricia was a devoted wife and mother who took pride in being a homemaker. She was of Christian faith, belonging to Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her sons, Burton A. Young, Jr. (wife Stephanie), and Jeff L. Young; nephew who was like a son, Dennis C. Smith; grandchildren, Jaime L. Cunningham (David), Connor A. Young, and Brody A. Young.

A private graveside service for Patricia will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
