Patsy Lee Kaufman

Patsy Lee Kaufman, 76, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born March 24, 1934, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Chester H. and Ruth (Gift) Weddle.
Mrs. Kaufman was an LPN, having worked at Washington County Hospital and retiring after 17 years of service from Avalon Manor Nursing Home. She then worked as a sorter at Hagerstown Rescue Mission.
She was a member of Maranatha Brethren Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Kaufman and fiancee Jennifer Leatherman of Frederick, and John Kaufman and fiancee Casey Edelen of Fayetteville, Pa.; three daughters, Debra Russ of Hagerstown, Ruth Reigh and husband Thomas of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Sharon Kaufman of Hagerstown; three sisters, Janet Shillingberg and Delores Weddle, both of Hagerstown, and Alice Snodderly of Funkstown; one brother, Sonny Weddle of Hagerstown; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Kaufman.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Jay Fretz officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour before services.
