Paul Lester McNamee

Paul Lester McNamee, 99, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, August 29. 2018, at Homewood of Williamsport.

Born June 21, 1919 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Paul Ellsworth Crawford McNamee and Mary Elizabeth (Mowen) McNamee. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by, two wives, Leona Davis McNamee and Gladys Moore McNamee; six sisters, Virginia Stonebraker, Lorraine Ebersole, Lillian Bartles, Thelma Oberholtzer, Elaine Lewis and Mahala McNamee; four brothers, Samuel, Charles, Lindy and William McNamee.

Mr. McNamee was a US Army Veteran of WW II.

He retired as an manufacturing engineer for Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown.

Mr. McNamee was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church; Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion, both of Hagerstown.

He is survived by three sisters, Lois Helman, Patricia Michael and Janice McDaniel and husband, Lawrence and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Ron Faith officiating.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to the Evangel Baptist Church, 17922 Broadfording Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
