Phyrne Louella Higman

Phyrne Louella Higman, 83, of Maugansville, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley, Walkersville, MD.
Born on January 12, 1939 in Fiddlersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Alice Romaine (Hatfield) and step-father, Charles William Price, Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Richard Higman, who passed away January 18, 2022, and step-brother Charles William Price, Jr.
Phyrne graduated from Hagerstown High School, class of 1956.
Phyrne worked for 40+ years as a secretary for J.W. Sachs & Beckner doctors office.
Phyrne was a lifetime member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts, baking and cleaning, especially laundry.
She is survived by her Daughters, Cynthia Davis and Julie Higman; Granddaughter, Casey (Davis) Cauffman and husband Tyler; and many nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11 AM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Reverend Mark Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Washington County, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
