Ralph Derr Eichelberger, Jr., 94, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Doey's House, Hagerstown.
Born March 25, 1923 in Washington County, Maryland he was the son of the late, Ralph D. Eichelberger, Sr. and Sadie Elizabeth (Huntington) Eichelberger. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years, Carolyn Marie (Pickett) Eichelberger; one brother, Jack and three sisters, Juanita, Elaine and Carol.
Mr. Eichelberger had worked and retired as a manager in retail.
He is survived by one daughter, Stacey D. Hammond and husband, Hal of Hagerstown; four brothers, Don, Billy, Terry and Bobby and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County,(Doey's House), 714 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
