Regina "Jean Margaret Taylor

Regina "Jean" Margaret (Knouse) Taylor, 83, of Hagerstown, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her home.
Born October 6, 1933 in Orrtanna, PA., she was the daughter of the late William and Laura (McKenrick) Knouse.
Jean was a graduate of Gettysburg High School.
She worked as a bookkeeper for many years in the Hagerstown area.
She attended St. Ignatius Loyola Church, in Orrtanna, PA.
Jean enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther T. Taylor, Sr., who died October 5, 2010; a sister, Celie Hill; and a brother, Jack Knouse.
Jean is survived by a son, Luther T. Taylor, Jr.; a daughter, Debra Myers and husband Stuart; a stepson, Leonard T. Taylor and wife Dawn; two granddaughters, Megan and Chelsea Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to the American Heart Assoc., 415 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
