CROMER Richard C, 80, husband of Virginia Mowen Cromer,
formerly of Winchester, VA, died Sun, June 26, 2011.
Born in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Blanche Cromer.
A retired manager with Acme Supermarkets, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and was a car enthusiast. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Winchester, VA and was an active member of the Shawnee Ruritan Club while living in Winchester, VA.
In addition to his wife of 62 years, he is survived by his son, Wayne (Judith) Cromer, Lexington; sister, Mary Elizabeth Keefer; grandchildren, Matthew and Eric Cromer, Bryan (Lori) Cromer and Kyle Cromer; one great grandson, Landon Cromer; as well as a niece and nephew in Maryland.
Services will be 6pm Wed at Milward-Man O' War. Visitation will be 4pm till service time. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
