Richard Eugene Stitely

Richard Eugene Stitely, 78, of Martinsburg, WV passed away peacefully, Friday, November 6, 2020, at his home surrounded by loving family.
Born on August 12, 1942 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Emma Symarion (Cecil) and Clifford Austin Stitely. He is proceeded in death by one son; Richard E. Stitely, II (Bucky) and four brothers and one sister.
Richard was a plumber by trade and worked for over 20 years at R.W. Warner in Frederick, and had his own business, Busy Bee Maintenance, which he ran until his retirement.
Richard was a member of Martinsburg Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was also a lifetime member of Independent Hose Company #1 in Frederick for 60 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth R. Stitely, one son; Kenneth L. Stitely, one daughter Wendi Lanciano and her husband Ray, three grandchildren; Natasha Walker and husband Cordell, Raymond Lanciano and his fiance Nicole, and Kenneth Stitely, three Great-Grandsons; Caiden, Xavier and Karsen, and one brother; James P. Stitely.
A graveside service will be had on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Reverend Don Kretzer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards the funeral expenses to Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
